I have been in a situation where I was abused my self. I have opened up to my partner about it because I wanted to be honest but I don't expect him to do anything different and I have got professional help for it because it is something that I realised that I have to deal with my self and I realise it is not fair to put it all on to my boyfriend. Can I ask, do you know how long ago this happend? Do you know if she is over it? And has she seeked professional help? It will always be in the back of her mind, it is still in mine but I have moved on and I'm not letting it affect my life. If she has seeked help, is over it, is happy with moving on and feels comftable around you then just give it a go. You should not judge dating a girl who was sexually abused person on their past and go with what happens now.
